What Is The Shift And How To Induce It In Your Stagnant Relationship

When an approach doesn’t work, change it.  Don’t get stuck in a rut. The hallmark of emotional intelligence is the capacity to pivot to create the shift or to let go completely. 

I want to talk about THE SHIFT in this email and how that happens. So now The SHIFT. My private client Luna has always been in the anxious position for affection and validation from her wishy-washy so called bf. By now I think most of you have already known that Kat teaches you to fess up to the fact that BOYFRIEND IS WHAT BOYFRIEND DOES.

So is he flaky, aloof, inconsistent, elusive? And you need to chase him to get his attention?

Girl, he’s not your bf. It doesn’t matter what he said many moons ago, fact is if you are let wondering more often than not where he is and what he does, he’s just an EUM which means he’s not committed to you as you are to him and the longer you let this go, the harder it will be for you to let go and the more impossible it is for him to fall for you thanks to your demanding and non joyful energy. So stop investing in this one-sided arrangement!!!

I know it’s hard to remove our focus from the man who has captivated so much of our fantasy and desire for a future together. But hear me out, this is not the end either if you know how to impart THE SHIFT!!

Yes the shift. So when I explained to Luna that a man can’t re-invest back into the relationship when there is no enough space for him to miss you (this hit program will explain it to you in great details), he will continue to pull back.

A few weeks later she reported back: “Kat, not sure what happened but after that class that I listened to at least twice a week, something shifted in me. That I have seen how my fearful behavior has really soured our connection and pushed him away. My constant feeling messages have really done damage to our trust and connection so I had nowhere to go but to seek your help and take refuge in it. So as you told me to surrender, I began to just really let go all these worries and attachments I have been having each time I sensed he was losing interest that only made matters worse.

And you know what? I didn’t text, call or write emails as I used to and just did my own things. I started talking to some guys who used to flirt with me before I decided I wanted to be exclusive in my EUM. I began to feel so much better because I can see now I was too laser focused and I couldn’t see the forrest for the trees.

It was 3 weeks of me not saying anything or doing anything. Yesterday he called me and told me he missed me. I was just listening and be coy/nice/sweet. He came over with groceries and he cooked a really nice steak dinner for us, all his own initiatives. He also brought a bottle of red wine that we had a really nice light convo over dinner. I didn’t even mention how he had abandoned me for 3 weeks.

And he stayed for the night, he was more attentive than usual in bed. What an enjoyable tense free night we shared that was. This morning as he kissed me goodbye he said, “Something is different about you now. Are you seeing other guys?”

I just smiled and said teasingly as per your teaching, “Don’t you want to know? Girls don’t kiss and tell.”

I am different because I no longer have that part of me who wants to long and yearn anymore. I’m done with all that shit. It’s really exhausting and I just want to enjoy my life with or without him. I feel the shift and so does he!!

So THE SHIFT, lovelies!!
