Marital counseling doesn’t work! And there are reasons why it doesn’t. It doesn’t mean doomsday though because there are ways that work better which are at the core of everything that I teach.

1. The wrong focus which is typically regurgitated by generic relationship advice which is communication to change the other person. Very little attention is given to one’s own contribution to their marital problems.
2. The wrong mindset that propagates the illusion of a romantic love that it is what makes us happy and fulfilled.
3. Only one party is really invested in the process for a wrong reason (usually the woman with the goal in mind to involve a third party to show her partner how wrong he is and he needs to change). Usually the other partner has already checked out from the relationship.
